Patients will normally be offered some way to access the medical cannabis being prescribed by their doctor.
Most clinics/doctors will direct you to a pharmacy that specialise in cannabis prescriptions, but when a patient tries to obtain their medicine from their local pharmacy, there have been several reports of patients experiencing difficulties.
The only pharmacy I'm aware of currently that brands itself as a cannabis specialist is Astrid Health in Victoria.
